This course will give a basic understanding of what is a drive-by appraisal. What are the pros and cons of a drive-by appraisal. What are the requirements for a drive-by appraisal?  What are hybrid and desktop appraisals and when is it permissible to use them. Finally, this course will cover what are HUD (FHA) requirements for drive-by appraisals.

This course will give a basic understanding of highest and best use and determining the larger parcel when appraising properties that are for transportation related projects. This course will also cover basic appraisal principles and procedures. Furthermore this course will deal with terminology, methodology and basic concepts such as defining the appraisal problem and scope of work in order to develop credible results in an appraisal assignment.

Expert Witness
This course will cover basic understanding of what an expert witness, We will take an in-depth look at the various Federal rules governing expert testimony. The general civil action process is discussed in detail, including pretrial procedures and what to expect once on the witness stand. A special emphasis is given to the appraiser's duties to perform competently and ethically.
